As someone who listens to a fair amount of prog rock/metal, I am obliged to love Rush but I only currently own a greatest hits collection. I was fortunate to see them live in 2015 on their 40th anniversary tour which ended up being their last. They happened to be in Houston at the same time our company was having a retreat for our legal department, and my boss 2 levels up was a HUGE Rush fan. So not only did I get to see them, but I scored points with the big boss for being a fan.

Fast forward about 3 years and we're having a smaller department meeting in NY and discussing various options for how to do something. There's no consensus, so boss tables the discussion for another day. I raise my hand and say, "You know, Sean, if you choose not to decide, you still have made a choice." Everyone laughed, but only he truly understood the joke. I think that might have been my finest hour at that job.

Can't tell you how pleased I was to find out that "600 words about Rush" wasn't about Limbaugh. And thanks for the Airplane reference.
