Last week I signed on to an open letter directed to Substack’s management seeking answers to questions many are raising about the company’s platforming and monetizing of Nazis.
They're clearly lying, because they DO have content restrictions - the ones targeting sex workers, for instance. Substack obviously believes that pornography is harmful enough to ban, while Nazis are not harmful enough to ban. It's a transparent decision they've made.
Thanks Craig. I'm going to cancel and make sure they don't get more of my money. I'll rejoin when you find a new place. I'm canceling now just so I don't forget over the holidays.
I mentioned this before, it's literally the belief of their backers. If you want to work on a migration please reach out, I've got a potential solution in the pipeline.
Bravo, Craig. I rarely comment, but I am glad to see you responded in exactly the way I expected you would. I will happily follow you to the next platform and will look forward to saying sayonara to Substack.
Really appreciate this response, Craig. Wherever you go, I (and my subscription fee) will be there. Thanks so much for doin' what you do & bein' who you are.
Bravo and huzzah. We all appreciate the position you're taking, and no matter how long it might be until you figure out the right move for you (platform wise), we're fans of it.
Even just saying immediately upon seeing their response that you'll be doing so is enough for now.
Please do as quickly as is reasonable because I don’t want my money going to these clowns for any longer than it must.
we'll go wherever you go! What a tone deaf response on their part.

Right on.
Agreed Craig; and no problem from me on moving on with you.

You lead, I follow, with dollars once marked as Substack's..
100 percent behind you, Craig.
Will add that only three other Substackers I follow sent out the open letter to their followers. That is kind of depressing.
Bravo. I pay for a few other Substack authors. If they stay at this tavern, I'll gladly stop paying to sit at the barstool next to them.
I'm glad you're looking into an alternative. Whenever you go, I'll follow.
Looking forward to whatever platform you shift to.
Thank you, Craig. With you all the way.
