*claps* Very glad to see this here, though I would have expected nothing less.

Craig, I applaud you for taking a stand on this issue. Substack leadership should definitely take action to remove hatred and bigotry from the platform

So frustrating to still be sending these retrograde fucksticks to the dustbin in 2023.

Thank you, Craig. Please keep us posted and certainly let us know should you relocate. I wish this sort of thing were still surprising and shocking, but damn, here we still are.

I can't see Substack actually kicking out the Nazis. The Internet as a whole doesn't seem to be interested in that. But better to make our voices heard than to just assume we cannot effect change.

For what it's worth, add my name to the list of people who want to hear real answers and substantive action from Substack.

Thank you for drawing more attention to this on going and ever increasing threat. I still remember when vague political posts were referred to as "dog whistles" to white supremacists. Now we are subjected to racist fascists bull horns. Thank you Craig keep on calling them out.

Thanks for sharing this. I think the only way to get them to do right other than costing them money.

Well justified and well written! Thank you for pressing this issue with Substack. I'll follow you on any platform you choose to publish.

Just spotted this Hamish comment on Xitter: "AI will do a lot of things—make art, write good things, come up with cogent analysis—but it will never replace human-to-human relationships."

I dunno man, I think the jury's out on art and really out on cogent analysis.

Anyway Craig there are definitely other options, though Substack is sure easy! Memberful is what I use. I have no idea if bad people use Memberful, but unlike Substack, Memberful is not an "ecosystem." It's all white labeled so it's just you, with your product, no interconnections.

Thank you for sharing this, Craig. It's the lowest of bars to clear yet it seems so difficult for some.

Thank you very much Mr. Calcaterra. I wasn't aware of these factions or their writings on substack, if you have to leave I will certainly follow.

Thank you for this Craig, platforming everyone including the far right is a default and encouraged stance by several of the backers of Substack, especially Andreeson-Horowitz (Marc Andreeson). The founders previously founded and operated Kik Messenger, a hotbed of child exploitation and abuse which they similarly refused to address.
