Good morning, everyone.
Yesterday was a full day with lots of cooking, visiting eating, and whatnot. As far as I can tell, the only baseball news of note was the Diamondbacks acquiring Eugenio Suárez from Mariners, which is interesting, but not so interesting that it warrants a full newsletter. So, like a lot of folks, I’m taking today off and calling it a weekend.
Enjoy your shopping if you’re shopping. Enjoy your Dagwood Bumstead-size turkey leftover sandwiches or watching football or going for a nice walk on a brisk fall day or whatever other late November faith you observe.
I’ll throw out some BlueSky codes at least:

And I’ll close with this, because I spent much of the day cooking while listening to these dudes’ 1967-1971 discography yesterday:
Have a great weekend everyone.
Update on the Heidi Schloegel Hynes food drive.
We ended up collecting 1,144 pound of food for Harvesters. And we sent over $3,000 to the Bronx to get healthy food for the program my sister started.
I’m not sure exactly how much was donated by the Cup of Coffee community, but I know it was a lot more than nothing.
With Twitter turning into a rot of toxic right wing insults, I am particularly thankful for this message board and newsletter.
Happy Thanksgiving
I remember when the day after Thanksgiving was set aside for vomiting. Another nice tradition slain by crass commercialism.
