I get that at least one of them was a parent whose child was murdered so I’m sure they’re probably operating from a place of raw emotion, but at absolute best I expect they’ll be harassed constantly by the police in that town from now on.
At worst…well, no one would really question it too hard if a grieving parent “took their own life,” right?
