Something occurred to me yesterday right after I sent out that comment thread following Game 2.
As someone who started his writing career at 36 and published his first book at 48, I am all for a World Series dominated by late bloomers like Adolis García and Merrill Kelly. Not all of us figure it all out early, ya know?
Anyway: the day off gave us a couple of little things. Juan Soto rumors. Some managerial news. The Fielding Bible Awards. Something that should make the Royals feel bad. Great Moments in Sponsorship. There’s even a football item, but trust me, it’s extraordinarily superficial.
