A fantastic weekend of LCS action. A former major leaguer was arrested for murder. The "Ass in the Jackpot" game. More Midwestern content. "John Brown's Body." Trust me, it all hangs together.

It sure was an exciting weekend of LCS action. Friday’s games were off the hook. On Saturday Kyle Schwarber, Bryce Harper, and J.T. Realmuto each homered and Zack Wheeler dominated, putting the Phillies one win away from returning to the World Series. And then last night the Rangers put the smackdown on the Astros to force a Game 7. Who could ask for anything more?
Well, there’s the thing about the ex-MLB pitcher possibly murdering someone, a deep dive into the “Ass in the Jackpot” game, even more Midwest stuff, and a story that gave me an excuse to use “John Brown’s Body” as today’s play out music, so I have no complaints.
