Atlanta's comeback, the Dbacks do it again, the postseason format, the Rangers' bad taste, Maddon's chutzpah, BlueSky, the Triangle Shirtwaist Memorial, RFK Jr., and using your phone on the toilet
Good morning!
We had a comeback and a wild finish in Atlanta last night. In Los Angeles we witnessed another starting pitching meltdown for the Dodgers.
Elsewhere, Atlanta’s win should, if there is any justice, make the chatter about the postseason schedule’s alleged unfairness to division winners go away, but just in case it doesn’t I blast that specious theory. I also talk about some teams axing coaches, why you may not want to root for the Texas Rangers, and the chutzpah of Joe Maddon.
In Other Stuff I have some BlueSky invites, I talk about the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, explain why Trump has way more to worry about from RFK Jr. than Biden does, and implore you to not use your phone on the toilet.
