The Cardinals have signed another pitcher. This one is less innings-eaty, though, so maybe it’ll move the needle a bit? The Dodgers are bringing back J-Hey, which is a nickname you don’t hear much anymore but it seemed like a great idea at the time. Elsewhere, the Mets are getting a team president and another Japanese pitcher has been posted.

In Other Stuff Sports Illustrated screws the pooch with some AI and some lying and, in the first mailbag response of what I have decided to call “Mailbag Season,” I talk about the movie “Clue.”
