Qualifying offers came out yesterday. So too did Silver Slugger Awards. Clayton Kershaw and the Dodgers are near a deal, Justin Verlander is a free agent by choice, Kevin Kiermaier is a free agent against his will, Robert Suárez has a new long-term deal, there was a minor trade, and I made a totally uncalled for immature joke.
