Bauer hits the bricks, the Nats may not be sold, robot umps are coming to Triple-A, the Guardians are making renovations, and we talk about pea wet, my family tree, Jeff Beck, exoplanets and pumas
Good morning!
Trevor Bauer got his walking papers yesterday, making him a free agent. His getting released woke up his loser fanboys on Twitter. It's probably better to just cry when you feel the need to cry, but most of them do not seem emotionally mature enough to accept and appreciate that, so I suppose their tweeting through it was the next best coping mechanism. Selah.
Elsewhere, we have our pitchers and catchers reporting dates, the Washington Nationals sale is not happening any time soon but they are doing a truly lame promotion in 2023, so that’s fun, they’re going to put robot umps in Triple-A this year, and the Guardians are about to make some massive renovations to Progressive Field, but don’t worry, taxpayers are paying for most of it.
In Other Stuff we have a third straight day of talking about gross English food, I discovered that at least part of my family tree does not branch, there’s a newly-discovered exoplanet, we say goodbye to a guitar god, and there’s pumas in them crevasses. Or at least there could be is we do what puma editorials tell us to do.
