I missed out on the chance to use "SHO-Canada" as a headline, so let's just talk about him signing with the Dodgers and the lousy state of baseball journalism these days

Good morning!

So I was offline most of the weekend watching the Columbus Crew win the MLS Cup and taking in a screening of “National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation” that doubled as a beer tasting/“Rocky Horror”-style audience experience at my local independent movie theater. Anyone wanna let me know if anyone signed or if there was any drama about it?

Just kidding of course. I know that Andrew Chafin signed and that Tyler O’Neill got traded. There will be a few thousand words about that today obviously.

Look, I’m a baseball writer and I take journalism seriously. If I don’t have solid information, I don’t say a word. I’m sure all of my colleagues in the industry feel the same way about that, so I’ll just wait until I hear something official, OK?
