Today we talk about death, taxes, and Framber Valdez, I make a truly tasteless joke in the Pirates-Brewers recap, but I figure that once something is 60+ years in the past it’s fair game, and we behold the glory of umpires on open mics. Elsewhere, we talk about the minor league unionization effort, a manager who got his option picked up, a Cy Young candidate who hit the injured list, and the Yankees enter into their (approximately) 415th soccer deal.
