The Yankees continue to be punchless, Atlanta continues to surge at the expense of the Mets, we had a walkoff homer and a walkoff hit-by-pitch last night, and things are getting good and tight in the AL Central.
Elsewhere, Atlanta continues to lock up young players to long, team-friendly deals, San Diego cancels a bobblehead night, Carlos Carrasco is going to miss some time, Major League Baseball imposes some cell phone discipline, I look at a couple of things that happened in the NBA and NFL, respectively, and think of how they’d go in a baseball context, and I hip you to a cool new book and a cool new documentary.
